Per John Paxson, It's Nonsense that @ChicagoBulls Head Coach Tom Thibodeau and General Manager Gar Forman are Feuding

Bulls general manager Gar Forman and head coach Tom Thibodeau have clearly had their differences the last few years, however vice president of basketball operations John Paxson downplayed the idea that it has escalated into a full-blown feud.

"I don’t think there’s any doubt that it’s been blown way out of proportion," Paxson tells the Chicago Sun-Times. "I think someone other than anyone in our organization has an agenda that really doesn’t suit what we’re all about. No matter what you do in this business, when you’re making decisions, whether it’s based on personnel or anything like that, you’re going to have ideas, different opinions, and that’s what we do. We sit in a room and talk these things through. The thing is, right now we’re all on the same page, and there are no hidden agendas from Gar, myself and Tom."

While there might be some tension, the two obviously feel they can work together and the sole focus this season is to get as far in the playoffs as possible since there is a good chance Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer may not return in 2014-15 due to future luxury tax concerns.

Thibodeau is signed through 2016-17 and makes about $4.5 annually.
