The Bears plan to interview Minnesota Vikings assistants Mike Singletary and Mike Priefer for Chicago's head-coaching opening, according to multiple reports.
In addition to being a Bears legend at linebacker, Singletary has previous head-coaching experience, having led the San Francisco 49ers to an 18-22 mark over three seasons. The current Vikings linebackers coach was succeeded in San Francisco by Jim Harbaugh, another former Bear.
Priefer, the Vikings' special teams coach, has helped rookie sixth-round place kicker Blair Walsh reach the Pro Bowl this season.
